Room 9 found nearly a bucket full of potatoes under the polythene. Mrs Nielsen kindly took them home and washed them. Then she bought some sour cream and salsa to school. Fly helped the kids cut the potatoes into wedges and cover them with some oil. They sprinkled on a little bit of salt and some rosemary from the rosemary plant that is growing outside the school hall. We roasted them in the oven in the staffroom. The wedges smelled really yummy!
We had to make sure that none of the teachers ate any!
After lunch we sat and ate our wedges!
Isn't it amazing how we can grow our own food!
